Slakki petting Zoo is located in Laugarás in Biskupstungur, only 100 km south of Reykjavik. It is an ideal place to visit with kids of all ages. You find various of animals at Slakki and you are allowed to pet many of the animals under staff supervision. Rabbits, kittens, puppies, budgies and fish, just to name a few.
Slakki offers a very nice, family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can buy refreshments on site and in additions to all the cute animals you will find playgrounds for the kids with slides and also a basketball basket. Inside you will find a nice mini-golf course and a poole table.
Slakki is close to many famous sites such as Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot spring area and the Million star Bubble hotel.
